Beach and Basketball Couple's Portrait Session

When I met with Stephanie and Derek at Revere Beach, I could tell that there were a few nervous jitters in the air. Instead of asking how much a polar bear weighed, I figured I'd be upfront and just clear the air: "Hey guys, guess what? The first 5 minutes will probably be awkward, and that's normal!"

Smooth sailing from there, folks, because these two peas in a pod were delightful and so easy going! Even though there was a lot of glare coming off the ocean, the way we were able to block the light on Stephanie's face ended up being very complimentary.

We also went to a basketball court and I captured some very fun photos of these lovebirds (in matching outfits, of course) playing ball. Turns out, Derek is a great coach! Very motivational.
